Riding my longboard is part of my creative workflow. Because I do much of my creative work in the garage, my longboard is always close at hand. This allows me to jump on my board in the middle of a jam session and carve around for few minutes.
My garage opens to a downward sloping driveway that spills out onto a sloping street. This hill is perfect for carving and clearing my head.
I find that riding my longboard nurtures an internal vibe that finds its way into my music. Listening to Heads Adrift is a lot like riding a longboard. In both instances, your mind and body are moved by a calm yet energetic force.
Our downtempo, trip-hop music is infused with longboard energy.
Ride the vibe. 🤙
